The 2019 workshop will begin Monday, August 5, 2019 and conclude on Friday, August 9, 2019 with a performance for family and friends on the final afternoon of the program. The daily schedule is 9 AM to 4 PM with an hour break in the middle of the day for lunch. Three hours of rehearsal and coaching each day will be balanced with time for other musical workshops and outdoor activities.
The goal of the Envision Chamber Music Workshop is to celebrate the joy of music-making in a supportive environment that inspires musical and personal growth. Students will receive coaching from young performers and educators including Josie and Sophie Davis, Maya French, Nate Martin, Colin Wheatley, and others. Many of the faculty grew up studying music in Maine.
