A Haydn hymn-like slow movement; a piece by Padma Newsome built around the idea of a central song; and a quartet by Schubert, master of lyrical melody writing; this is a program performed by one of the world’s most adventurous string quartets, Brooklyn Rider, with the love of song at its core.
