Hailed by The New York Times as "something extraordinary," the Grammy Award-winning Parker Quartet has rapidly distinguished itself as one of the preeminent ensembles of its generation. The quartet continues their Bay Chamber Festival residency with a program that pairs a classic work by Mozart (featuring rising violist Margaret Dyer) with the formal intricacy of Britten‘s early Phantasy Quartet (with oboist James Austin Smith).
Margaret Dyer has charmed audiences worldwide as a chamber musician and soloist in New York City’s Merkin Hall, Carnegie Hall, Jordan Hall in Boston, numerous venues in Europe, Mexico, and along the Amazon River in Peru.
