Christopher Houlihan 3

Bach’s compositions for organ pushed the limits of what was thought possible for the instrument and its performers. Few details are known of Bach’s own performances, except that he wowed and surprised his listeners. His extensive travels to examine and perform dedication recitals of new organs left such an impression that he was described in his obituary as Bach, "the world-famous organist."

Organist Christopher Houlihan is an "intelligently virtuoso musician" Gramophone
