Bay Chamber Concerts is a 501(c)(3) registered non-profit organization. Our Board of Trustees and staff are fiscally conservative, always seeking to balance the books to provide a strong foundation for sustainability. We’ve been around for over 50 years, and we plan on being around for 50 more!

Funding comes from a variety of sources. While ticket sales and tuition cover some of our expenses, they’re only part of the equation. We also derive income from individual contributors, business and foundation supporters and fundraising events. Our overall budget varies year-to-year, and currently averages about $900K annually.

Endowment Income – 5% 

The majority of our resources are spent on programming for concerts and the music school.  Other costs include management (rent, electricity, technology) and staff salaries.
