Welcome to Bay Chamber Music School. Our school was founded following the 50th anniversary of Bay Chamber Concerts in 2010 and soon after we moved into our state of the art facility in Rockport Village. With seven teaching studios, several Steinway grand pianos and a beautiful view of the harbor we feel our school offers the best in music education anywhere in the state.

Since its founding, Bay Chamber has been encouraging people of all ages, abilities and backgrounds to make music together. At concerts and in the classroom, one-on-one and in groups, Bay Chamber is committed to providing avenues for exploring the rich variety of musical genres and languages. Our faculty is made up of professional musicians most of whom have an advanced degree in their instrument. All are devoted to their students and bring a commitment to quality teaching from a broad array of approaches.

An important aspect of our school curriculum is group classes. We believe that music is meant to be shared and that all of our students are offered the opportunity to play in ensembles. With our mission to offer chamber music in our concert series, we follow with a commitment to chamber music studies, in the broadest sense of the term, at our school.

With an emphasis on building a musical community, Bay Chamber Music School provides a dynamic environment in which to learn and grow together, through music education, practice and performance. It’s never too early or too late to learn to play music – please join our community of musicians of all ages and abilities.
