An auspicious line up of musicians play a program of 19th century musical treasures, anchored by SCHUBERT’s tuneful and good-natured masterpiece. Geoff Nuttall, "a violin virtuoso and an extraordinary musician" (The New York Times) is joined by Livia Sohn, Pedja Muzijevic, and making their Bay Chamber debuts, "outstanding violist" (American Record Guide) Mark Holloway, "charismatic" (The New York Times) Icelandic cellist, Sæunn Thorsteinsdóttir and First Prize winner of the 2014 Sphinx Competition and graduate of the Curtis Institute of Music, double bassist, Xavier Foley.

FREE Pre-Concert Talks with Anthony Antolini
Bay Chamber Concerts is thrilled to announce that Bowdoin music professor Anthony Antolini will present free pre-concert talks from 6-7pm on Thursday evenings July 12, 19, 26 & August 2, 9 and 16 in the Recital Hall at the Bay Chamber Music School. Come to one or come to all; each talk will cover the repertoire to be presented in the Rockport Opera House concert that evening at 7:30pm.  Prof. Antolini returns to Bay Chamber Concerts after having taught the enormously popular "Enjoying Chamber Music" lecture series for many years.  He is the Director of the Bowdoin Chorus, Mozart Mentors Orchestra and Down East Singers.
