Midcoast Maine is accessible by airplane, bus and car. Choose what's most convenient for you!


By Air
There are limousine services from Portland Jetport (PWM) or Bangor Airport (BGR), each about an hour and a half ride from Rockport. There are also flights from Boston to Owls Head Airport (RKD), about a fifteen minute ride from Rockport.

By Bus
Concord Trailways has several trips going north to Bangor and south to Portland and Boston. The Camden/Rockport stop is at the Maritime Farms on Route 1 in Camden. Any of our venues is a short taxi ride from there; taxis available by inquiring inside.

By Car

Directions from All Points South

• Follow I-95 North through New Hampshire to the Maine Turnpike
• Take the Maine Turnpike (I-95) to exit 52 (Falmouth)
• Take I-295 North to Exit 28 (Coastal Route/Brunswick Bath)
• Follow Rt. 1 North through several towns (about 50 miles)

To Rockland and the Strand Theatre

• Continue on Rt. 1 to Rockland
• Rt. 1 turns left at a traffic light and becomes Main Street (one way)
• The Strand Theatre is two blocks ahead on the right
• Parking is available on the street or in the public lot on Winter Street (turn right immediately after the Strand Theatre)

To Rockport and the Rockport Opera House

• In Warren, turn left onto Rt. 90
• Follow Rt. 90 East through several towns (about 15 miles)
• Continue straight through the light at the intersection with Rt. 1
• Turn left at the end of Rt. 90 (West Street) onto Pascal Avenue
• Follow Pascal for approx one mile, taking you through the village of Rockport
• After crossing a bridge, bear right and go up the hill on Central Street
• The Rockport Opera House is on the right at the top of the hill
• Parking is available on the street or in the post office parking lot

To Camden and the Camden Opera House

• In Warren, turn left onto Rt. 90
• Follow Rt. 90 East through several towns (about 12 miles)
• Turn left onto Rt. 1 North
• Follow into downtown Camden (about 3 miles)
• The Camden Opera House is the first large brick building on your left.
• Parking is available on the street, and in several public parking lots.  Follow signs to public parking.

To Rockport and the Strom Auditorium at Camden Hills Regional High School

• In Warren, turn left onto Rt. 90
• Follow Rt. 90 East through several towns (about 11 miles)
• Camden Hills Regional High School will be on your left.
• There is ample parking in the lots surrounding the school.
