The Summer Concert Series
The Summer Concert Series is the cornerstone of Bay Chamber’s 50+ year history of presenting chamber music in Rockport. Artists from all over the world return each summer to perform in our two local venues, the beloved Rockport Opera House and Union Hall, offering intimate concerts in an informal setting.
Thursday Night Series
The weekly anchor and musical jewel of our summer program takes place in the historic Rockport Opera House with excellent acoustics, balcony and orchestra reserved seating and it’s air-conditioned! Six concerts comprise the Thursday subscription package.
FREE Pre-Concert Talks with Anthony Antolini
Bay Chamber Concerts is thrilled to announce that Bowdoin music professor Anthony Antolini will present free pre-concert talks from 6-7pm on Thursday evenings July 12, 19, 26 & August 2, 9 and 16 in the Recital Hall at the Bay Chamber Music School. Come to one or come to all; each talk will cover the repertoire to be presented in the Rockport Opera House concert that evening at 7:30pm. Prof. Antolini returns to Bay Chamber Concerts after having taught the enormously popular "Enjoying Chamber Music" lecture series for many years. He is the Director of the Bowdoin Chorus, Mozart Mentors Orchestra and Down East Singers.
Café Nights
The Café Nights series offers even more interactive and adventurous musical experiences, often including lighter repertoire. Here you can experience great music while sipping select wines. Union Hall performances are intimate, engaging and lots of fun! This subscription package includes nine evening concerts in Union Hall.

Screen Door is a five-day musical extravaganza along one of the most scenic coastlines in the world. It features fresh performances by world-renowned musicians, presented in intimate venues, all in a distinctly relaxed summer-in-Maine atmosphere.
