Bay Chamber Concerts

*Da Capo is a musical term in Italian, meaning ‘from the top’ or beginning. Variation: Da Capo al fine, meaning ‘repeat from beginning up to the end’.

We support our young musicians ‘from the beginning’ with private lessons in violin, viola and cello. We offer string ensembles for every level of ability, from beginning to advanced. And we follow along as they move on to conservatory, college or wherever their musical journey may lead.

Graduates of our music education programs have come back to perform with Bay Chamber Concerts as professionals on the very same stage where they began, making the circle complete.

Each year we plan a major fundraiser to support our music education programs – and this year’s Gala will be entirely unique. The performers will be some of the best and brightest young musicians from our own education programs.

Be among 100 guests partaking in a unique musical evening at The Roc, the pinnacle of Point Lookout in Northport. In this magnificent setting overlooking Penobscot Bay, you will enjoy excellent cuisine, the performances of young musicians and the company of other members of the Bay Chamber Concerts family.

The evening features five aspiring musicians who have all taken part in one or more of Bay Chamber Concerts Education Programs: Odeon, Next Generation, Young Stars of Maine and more. And all the funds raised by the Gala directly benefit these very same programs.

On the deck accompanied by a preview of a small group of unique silent auction items
Dinner - 6:00 p.m.
Served in the elegant dining room with performances throughout the evening
