Odeon Allegro, Symphony, and Chamber Orchestras Concert

Bay Chamber's Odeon program offers local musicians the opportunity to play in a variety of ensemble settings, including full orchestra, chamber ensembles, a junior ensemble and as soloists. The program also includes the Kräftig Piano Quartet featuring Fiona Boyd, violin; Duncan Hall, cello; Sam McKenna, piano and oboe; and Teal Vickery, viola and the Odeon Trio featuring Elizabeth Belair on clarinet, Davis Boardman on violin, and Aiden Gordon on piano.

This special concert will mark Thomas Wolf's retirement after a half century as Artistic Director of Bay Chamber Concerts. The gala program, in which Wolf himself will perform, will be followed by a champagne reception. Tickets are $50 and no discounts apply.

FREE and open to the public!
A free outdoor concert overlooking beautiful Camden Harbor featuring The Engagements. The concert is part of Camden’s Festival of Independence, and will include the evening fireworks! Dance the night away to classic funk and soul covers, 80’s favorites, and everything in between.

You won’t want to miss opening night. Last year’s audiences were thrilled by Anna Polonsky, the extraordinarily gifted winner of Bay Chamber Concerts’ Andrew Wolf Chamber Music Award. At this year’s concert, she performs with her talented husband, Orion Weis, some of the greatest four-hand piano masterpieces as well as works for two pianos.

Originally commissioned by Bay Chamber Concerts in 2003, Chris Brubeck’s Vignettes for Nonet has become a beloved addition to the “crossover” literature, bringing jazz and classical musicians together. Come hear Sospiro Winds play this work with the Brubecks and also perform some of the classical literature for woodwind quintet.
