The popular New Orleans-based group plays authentic jazz from its earliest decades.
Please join us before the concert at 7:00 p.m. at the Farnsworth Art Museum for Music & Art: An Exchange featuring Bay Chamber Artistic Director Thomas Wolf and Farnsworth Art Museum Cheif Curator Michael Komanecky. The July 27 topic will be "The Forging of an American Identity (with Fred Starr founder and musician with the Lousiana Repertory Jazz Ensemble). A look at America’s unique voice in music and art as it emerged in the early years of the 20th century." Seating is limited; pre-registration is recommended by 4:00 p.m. on the day of the show.
