“It always amazed me that a group that had such diverse personalities and approaches to life could come together after an intense and sometimes volatile period of rehearsal and present such a unified performance. When our performances were ‘on’ it was obvious and there was a tacit understanding of personal and group inner satisfaction that is difficult to replicate. I loved the zest, energy, and humor in the quartet as we handled various challenges throughout our early years.
