The thirteen members of ABT II, a multinational group aged 16-19, undergo one to two years of training for entrance into the main company of American Ballet Theatre. Young emerging choreographers, composers and designers, chosen to create or contribute to repertory pieces for ABT II, also receive invaluable exposure through the program. Since 1995, forty-three dancers have moved onto careers with American Ballet Theatre, including three as principals and six as soloists.

Attend a dance master class with ABTII Artistic Director Wes Chapman. Students will spend 45 minutes each on barre work and floor work. This class is designed for intermediate and advanced level ballet students; please wear ballet attire. $15. Space is limited, so please call the box office at (207) 236-2823 to reserve your place.

Story Hour at the Camden Public Library
10:00 a.m. on Thursday, April 9 and Friday, April 10
Bay Chamber Concerts and the Camden Public Library are teaming up to bring a delightful, dance inspired story hour. Every Thursday and Friday at 10 a.m. Amy Hand, Children’s Librarian, hosts a wonderful themed story hour complete with tales and crafts.
