One of today’s most gifted artists, pianist Ignat Solzhenitsyn, performs with Philadelphia’s world-renowned Curtis Institute of Music’s rising stars.  The spring 2011 tour features this Curtis piano faculty member and 1995 alumnus, Solzhenitsyn.  He will be joined by two extraordinary Curtis students in a commissioned piece by Daron Hagen (’84 alumnus).  Other offerings include works by Brahms, Kurtag and Mozart’s beloved clarinet composition, the “Kegelstatt” Trio.
